The ACERBIS chest protector Soft Race is a soft-shell chest and back protector for motocross, enduro, and MTB riders who want certified impact protection with high comfort and mobility. Construction and impact protection

This protector uses a soft-shell design over the chest and back to absorb impacts from roost, branches, and falls while keeping bulk to a minimum. Large mesh areas promote ventilation across the torso to reduce heat build-up. The material blend combines polyurethane, polyester, nylon, EVA, polyamide, and TPR to balance impact absorption, durability, and comfort against the body. The flexible structure lets the protector follow body movement on the bike and during pedaling.

Certifications

The Soft Race Chest Protector carries CE certification to EN1621-3:2018 for chest protection and EN1621-2:2014 for back protection, both at Level 1. This rating confirms tested impact attenuation across the covered areas.
