The Nitro Droid BOA youth snowboard boots are built to keep young riders comfortable, supported, and warm so they can focus on progressing all over the mountain. Designed for beginner and advancing kids, these boots balance an easy-going flex with secure foothold and simple entry and exit.
The Droid BOA uses a coated synthetic and textile shell with an EVA outsole for a light, grippy feel underfoot and added impact absorption. Nitro’s Interlock System links the liner heel to the shell with molded teeth that hold the heel in place and reduce slipping on toe side turns. Comfort is rated 7/10 with a 3/10 response, giving kids a forgiving flex that still supports learning new skills.
The BOA Fit System with H4 dial offers micro-adjustable tightening from top to bottom, so kids and parents can dial in an even fit with a quick turn. Inside, the Kids' Cloud 1 liner features a classic Nitro fit scaled for smaller feet, and the patented Re/Lace Liner Locker lets riders snug the liner without removing or loosening the outer boot. The Direct Lacing System uses low-friction Dyneema-loaded laces on the liner for smooth tightening and consistent hold.
The Cloud 1 liner is built from pre-molded Thermacell foam for a comfortable feel straight out of the box. It is heat moldable, so shops can custom-tune the shape, and it will also adapt naturally over time as kids ride. An EVA footbed adds extra cushioning and thermal insulation, helping keep feet warmer through long days on snow.
The Nitro Droid BOA youth boots are made without PVC 6P phthalates, use recycled rubber where possible, and come in plastic-free packaging, supporting a more responsible choice for growing riders.
