The GAERNE boots SG 12 white/grey are full-height motocross and enduro boots built for riders who want strong support, precise bike feel, and durable construction. From hard motos to long enduro loops, they combine a supportive chassis with a resolable sole and CE-certified protection.

Outer construction

The SG 12 uses a PU-injected front shin plate to shield the lower leg from roost and impacts, paired with a reinforced heel cup that stabilizes the rear of the foot. A precision-shaped toe box gives a close interface with the shift lever for accurate gear changes. Gaerne’s Goodyear welted artisanal construction bonds the upper to a robust sole structure, improving durability and allowing the boots to be resoled to extend their service life. A Dual Composite Sole with a specific tread pattern focuses grip where it meets the footpegs, especially in wet or muddy conditions.

Fit and closure system

The closure system combines four lightweight, replaceable buckles with rubberized details for secure handling in mud and grime. A Velcro strap at the top fine-tunes the collar closure, and the two upper buckles offer extra adjustment to accommodate larger calves or knee braces. On the inner side of each boot, a Grip Guard rubber panel improves contact with the bike while acting as heat-resistant padding against the exhaust and engine cases.

Comfort and support

Inside, the SG 12 features Gaerne Memory Cell Foam lining that shapes around the foot and lower leg for a consistent, supportive fit. The molded insole supports the arch and heel, with a shock-absorbing insert at the rear of the footbed to help dampen hard landings. Ventilated construction in the forefoot area promotes air circulation to keep the foot cooler during long motos.

Protection and certification

The DSPS (Dual Stage Pivot System) creates firm lateral support through the ankle to reduce the risk of over-compression and hyper-extension, while still allowing a natural movement for shifting and braking. The combination of shin plate, heel cup, and internal structure works with the pivot system to manage impacts and twisting forces. The GAERNE boots SG 12 white/grey carry CE certification to EN 13634:2017 and Regulation EU 2016/425, and are made in Italy.
