HUSQVARNA oil level sensor

The HUSQVARNA oil level sensor is a genuine OEM float-type sensor for the 2-stroke TPI/oil-injection lubricating system on selected Husqvarna, KTM and GasGas off-road motorcycles. It monitors oil quantity in the tank and sends an electrical signal to the dashboard or warning light when the level drops.

Fitment and use

Direct replacement for the oil level sensor on Husqvarna TE 150i/250i/300i 2018–2023, KTM 150/250/300 EXC TPI 2018–2023, and GasGas EC 250/300 2021–2023. Replace this sensor if the low-oil warning is inoperative, erratic, or if the original sensor is damaged during service of the lubricating system.

Typically replaced on its own when faulty; often inspected together with the oil pump and oil lines during lubricating system diagnosis. Installation is a direct fit into the oil tank or cover and requires only basic hand tools; follow the manufacturer’s torque specifications for associated fasteners and ensure correct routing and connection of the wiring harness.
