CE levels and fit
Armour is only as good as its certification and whether it stays in place.
- CE Level 1: baseline protection, thinner and more comfortable for daily use.
- CE Level 2: higher impact absorption, the choice for racing and speed.
Armour has to fit closely and stay on the joint while you move. Knee and elbow guards that slide end up in the wrong place in a crash. A back protector should cover the spine down to the waist.
