A very soft flex lets even lighter riders bend the board, while the beginner-oriented personality keeps things predictable rather than twitchy. It’s tuned for all-mountain learning, from magic carpet laps to cruising green runs.

Shape & geometry

A true twin shape keeps everything centered and symmetrical, so kids can ride either direction without the board feeling different underfoot. The stance is set up for a balanced, neutral position, and the insert pattern changes with length: the 110 cm uses eight total threaded inserts, while the 120 cm and 130 cm lengths step up to 16 total inserts to give taller kids a wider stance option. This sizing approach helps match stance width to rider height as they grow.

Core construction, camber & flex

The Fly wood core runs tip to tail to keep weight down while maintaining strength and a consistent flex. Flat Top bend with Easy Bevel combines a flat profile between the feet with a convex base and upturned edges, creating a stable platform that strongly resists catching an edge. Biax fiberglass adds torsionally soft, forgiving flex, and the extruded base delivers durable glide with minimal maintenance. Super Sap epoxy contributes to a more responsible build.

If you want a forgiving kids’ board that speeds up the learning curve from first slide to real turns, the BURTON Kids Grom snowboard is built for that job.

Length

110 cm

120 cm

130 cm

Waist width

203 mm

222 mm

232 mm

Effective edge

785 mm

885 mm

960 mm

Sidecut radius

4.9 m

5.6 m

6.2 m

Rider weight

18–25 kg

23–36 kg

32–45 kg
